Why are some people allergic to mangoes?
Mangoes can cause an allergic reaction in some people, although this is quite rare. Most allergic reactions to mangoes are rashes, which usually result in a reaction to the touch of the skin of the mango. According to the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, mango peel and mango tree juice contain urushiol, an organic, oil-allergic chemical also found in poison ivy, poison ivy, and poison ivy. Poison ivy.
The good news is that your days ahead may not be entirely languid. Although some people can be allergic to mango pulp, the skin of the mango is often the cause. The best time to plant mango trees
Sowing was carried out in July and August in rainy areas and in February and March in irrigated areas. In areas with heavy rains, cultivation will resume at the end of the rainy season.
Mango storage
Due to the short shelf life (2-3 weeks), the mangoes cool down as quickly as possible to a storage temperature of 13 degrees Celsius. Some varieties can withstand storage temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius. Post-harvest processing steps include preparation, sorting, washing, drying, waxing, packaging, pre-cooling, palletizing, and shipping.
Packaging of mangoes
Mangoes are usually packed in corrugated cardboard boxes measuring 40 x 30 x 20 cm. The fruits are packed in a single layer of 8 to 20 fruits per box. The boxes must have enough ventilation openings (approximately 8% of the surface) to allow good ventilation.
What types of fertilizers are there?
Fertilizers are generally divided into two main categories or types, organic and inorganic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are cow manure, green manure, etc., while inorganic compounds are chemical fertilizers that are available in powder or granular form like NPK fertilizer.
What are natural fertilizers and what are some examples of natural fertilizers?
Natural fertilizers, also called organic fertilizers, are those obtained from animal material, human excrement, plant material (compost and plant residues). Some compounds or substances are formed naturally in the soil, such as peat, manure, manure, guano, etc., and can also be considered organic. They contain or transport the same nutrients in chemical compounds, but their composition is different and cannot be changed.
What is anaerobic digestion?
Anaerobic digestion (AD) converts plant material (biomass) into gas for heating and energy supply. The gas is called methane or biogas. It is produced by bacteria that digest biomass and produce methane as a by product.
Biomass includes everything that is of plant origin: municipal waste, manure, plant waste, compost, food waste, paper and sewage. Cultures can be grown specifically for use in AD as a feedstock or additional stabilizer.
What is the recommended dose?
Dosage: 30 kg X 15 bags / acre
How better is our product than a different product?
Our organic fertilizer is produced by the largest biogas plant in Asia. Which can be used as a complete alternative to natural cow manure.
How good is the compost?
Composting is the process of breaking down organic waste in a pit. The location for composting should be high and the water should not stagnate during the monsoon.
The process is the following:
- Cattle manure mash with water.
- Prepare a 6-inch layer of organic debris (plant debris, barn debris, forage debris, dried plant stems and leaves, etc.) and spray water just to moisten it. (Avoid pouring on it).
- Cover with the urine layer of soil and manure.
- Add 5 to 10 kg of superphosphate per 10 tons of organic waste.
- Repeat the process of applying these coats until the hole is full.
- Seal pit with urine soil, waste liner, then pile soil until convex (about 1-1.5 feet above ground) to allow water to drain.
- After six months, the compost is ready to be applied to the fields.
- The well can be replenished if there is enough organic waste. Alternatively, a temporary partition can be made in the pit using bamboo or rods, and the pit can be filled over time by filling in each separate area as material becomes available for composting.
How do organic farmers fertilize their plants and fight pests, diseases, and weeds?
Organic farmers build healthy soils by nurturing the living components of the soil, the microbial inhabitants that release, transform and transfer nutrients. The organic substance in the soil contributes to a good soil structure and good water holding capacity. Organic farmers feed the soil biota and develop the soil structure and water holding capacity. Organic farmers build organic soil with intercrops, compost, and bio-based soil amendments. These produce healthy plants that are better able to resist disease and insect damage. The main strategy of organic farmers to combat pests and diseases is prevention through good nutrition and plant management. Organic farmers use intermediate crops and sophisticated crop rotations to manage the ecology of the field, effectively altering the habitat of weeds, insects and pathogens.
Weeds are controlled through crop rotation, mechanical tillage, and manual weeding, as well as intercropping, mulching, flame weeding, and other management methods. Organic farmers depend on diverse populations of soil organisms, beneficial insects, and birds to keep pests at bay. When pest populations are out of control, breeders employ a variety of strategies, such as the use of insectivores, mating disorders, traps, and barriers. According to the National Organic Program Rule, farmers must first apply sanitary and cultural practices before they can turn to any material to control a weed, pest, or disease problem. As a last resort, certain botanical or non-synthetic pesticides can be used.
What types of waste can biogas be produced from?
All types of organic raw materials have the potential for biogas production: plant and animal waste, food and processing industries, sugar factories, meat processing plants and slaughterhouses, breweries, etc.
Is biogas safe for the environment?
The value of the methane factor of greenhouse gases is 21 times greater than that of CO2. The decomposition of organic raw materials into biogas reduces greenhouse gas pollution by a factor of 20.
The isolation of methane from organic raw materials and its subsequent conversion into electrical and thermal energy ensures that organic raw materials do not decompose in open spaces, and therefore biogas production reduces direct emissions of methane to the air.
Furthermore, energy from biogas will likely displace fossil fuels, which are the main source of greenhouse gas emissions.
What happens to the raw materials after biogas production?
Despite the general opinion that the amount of raw material that goes into fermentation corresponds to the amount of raw material after fermentation, the quality of the raw material improves (practically no odour, better fertilizer properties, lower organic load and grade pollution).
The raw material can be divided into solid and liquid fractions, it can also be used as organic fertilizer for fields.
What exactly is wall putty?
Wall putty is a product available as a powder or putty that is applied to walls to provide a flat surface for paint.
The traditional way of doing this was limewash (with slaked lime) or whitewash (with white cement). However, neither gives a smooth surface and leads to higher paint consumption.
Next, skilled applicators started with a mixture of chalk powder, primer, and other organic materials. However, it took a long time to produce and there were discrepancies from batch to batch.
After that, powder plaster casts became popular. However, these presented two problems:
- A very thick layer (at least 0.5 inches) was needed, causing cracking and peeling.
- These were not waterproof, so if it encounters water, it will have the problem of bulging and damp walls.
Next, come the “acrylic” or “finished” wall spatulas. They are available as a paste and are applied directly to the wall. These also have water damage issues. In addition, they cannot normally be used for exterior applications.
It is available as a powder and is mixed with water on the spot to form a paste which can then be applied to the walls.
What types of wall fillings are available on the market?
There are two types of wall putty
A. White cement putty for walls
- It consists of white cement, additive polymers, and minerals.
- It is used for both walls indoor and outdoor.
- It has superior binding properties as it is based on white cement.
B. Acrylic sealant for walls
- Acrylic and water-based solution.
- Suitable for indoor use only.
- The quality of the bond is inferior to the white cement alternative.
Putty or primer first?
Before applying the primer or putty knife, you must make sure that all traces of grease, stains, dust, old wallpaper, oil paint, etc. were scraped from the wall.
If the wall is uneven or has significant cracks and dents, it should be filled with caulk and leveled. Brands like Birla White also offer a special solution called Wall Leveling Putty MF (Matt Finish) to cover larger potholes.
It is standard practice for building contractors to prime before wall putty for better adhesion. However, some brands recommend wetting the wall before application.
Brands like Birla White Wall Care Putty claim that their product does not require any primer. Therefore, it is best to consult the manufacturer’s directions before use. They can also choose to hire their in-house trained professionals for the job.
Are there any drawbacks with wall putty?
Wall putty ensures the perfect finish to the walls but has some drawbacks that make the job difficult. Here are the disadvantages of wall putty:
- Once it has hardened, you cannot use wall putty.
- Requires skilled or skilled labor to achieve the desired finish.
Are there any advantages of wall putty?
Wall putty comes from the fact that it is a cement-based material. Manufacturers have developed special solutions with added polymers that improve the general properties of wall putty. Some of the main advantages of wall putty are:
- Improves the tensile strength of the wall.
- Wall putty increases the life of the wall paint.
- It is moisture resistant.
- Wall putty creates a smoother finish.
- Wall putty will not peel off or get damaged easily.
Why do bubbles form immediately after applying the first coat of sealant?
If a force is exerted on the sealant when applying the first coat, the moisture will become
It tends to peel off the surface of the plaster and form bubbles.
Is there a possibility of cracks in the wall putty after application?
In general, no cracks are observed when the application is carried out according to the recommendations.
Thickness not greater than 1.5 mm.
What is the Wall Putty Coverage Area?
Although the coverage area depends on its quality/waviness
on the substrate surface, wall putty has a top area of 16-20 sq ft / kg, with two
Layers up to 1.5 mm thick.
What is the correct mixing method for wall filler?
First, put the putty in a pan and add the necessary water, mix well homogeneous paste and mix again after 10 minutes.
Can a primer be used before or after applying the filler?
Priming before/after filling the wall is usually not necessary.
Can wall putty be used after the expiration date?
We recommend using wall filler within the specified pot life. Best use before 6 months from the date of manufacture.
How much wall putty do I need for my house?
Typically, the wall area is three times the floor area. If you are also planning to apply caulk to the ceiling, you can assume that it will be 3.5x. Our sealant provides coverage between 7 and 12 square meters. ft/kg produced for the two-coat surface. Note that performance is dependent on surface roughness, wall ripple, and processor readiness.
How to coat the wall?
Clean the surface properly. It is desirable that the plaster surface is slightly (not too) rough.
If the surface is too smooth, the applicator may not be able to apply the required thickness of sealant (max. 1-3 mm) to the walls.
If the surface is too rough, the consumption of putty may be increased.
Mix the wall sticker well with 30-35% pure water. Make sure to add enough water to get a mushy texture.
Apply the first coat of putty to the wall. It is common practice to use the first coat of paint to cover surface imperfections, including wall waves. If you are unsure of the required thickness, consult your engineer/architect for the best results. Let the surface dry completely.
Apply a second coat of putty. A third coat can be applied for a richer look. Limit the total thickness to less than 3 mm. For most applications, the optimum thickness is 1.5mm. However, it depends on the surface conditions.
Once the putty is completely dry, you can paint the wall after sanding and applying primer and paint.
